Notes for installers
Volkswagen fitment follows the platform, not the badge - the same kit covers VW, Skoda, SEAT and Jetta models built on the same floorpan. Two rules apply almost everywhere: the car must have left the factory with an analogue (mechanical) cluster, and the original cluster housing is reused, so no cutting or extra parts are needed. Two exceptions are worth flagging to your customers - the Passat B8 family is LHD or RHD specific, and the early Golf MK5, Jetta MK5 and Caddy 2008-2010 need the 36-pin black connector. Panels are 10.25 inch on PQ and 12.3 inch on MQB.
