Digital cluster retrofit — Porsche

Porsche digital cluster retrofit — Panamera, Cayenne and Macan

Three Porsche fitments, built the same way as the rest of our range: the original cluster mainboard stays in the car, a 12.3-inch or 10.25-inch panel replaces the dials, and the fit is ten minutes with no coding and no odometer setup. It is a small line for us, so we quote it per order rather than publish a price.

Panamera (970, 2010-2016) and Cayenne (92A, 2011-2017) are left-hand drive only. The Macan (95B, 2014-2025) has a separate right-hand drive build. Test one unit first, 3-7 working days.

What the interface looks like

The interface runs on the same Linux cluster platform as our Audi line — the panel is what changes between Porsche models, not the software family.

These are screenshots of the cluster software, not a photo of a Porsche dashboard. We would rather show you the truth about what we have than a stock picture of a car we did not fit.

Porsche fitment table

Three fitments, all integrated replacements. Each model name opens its own page with the panel size, the factory PCM generation and the drive side.

ModelChassisYearsPanelFactory PCMDrive side

The Cayenne line is the car with the large factory display — the earlier small-screen Cayenne is not the same kit, so confirm which one you are quoting. On 2022-on Macan, send the PCM version and a photo of the cluster and we check before the order ships. The full range, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Volkswagen, is on the fitment index.

Questions buyers ask about this range

Brand-specific answers. Trade terms and warranty are the same across the cluster range — see the cluster overview.

Which Porsche models do you cover?

Three: the Panamera (970, 2010-2016) with a 12.3-inch panel, the Cayenne (92A, 2011-2017) with the large factory display and a 12.3-inch panel, and the Macan (95B, 2014-2025) with a 10.25-inch panel. Those are the fitments we have confirmed; if your car is not one of them, send the chassis code and we will check it by hand.

Is a right-hand drive Panamera or Cayenne available?

No. The Panamera and Cayenne kits are left-hand drive only and cannot be adapted afterwards. The Macan is the exception — it exists as two separate builds, one for left-hand drive and one for right-hand drive, and the drive side has to be correct on the order.

Does the cluster keep the original mileage?

Yes. The original cluster mainboard stays in the car and the new panel reads from it, so mileage, service intervals and the warning messages are the car's own data rather than a copy or a re-entered value. Nothing is coded after fitting.

Why is there no price on this page?

Porsche is a low-volume line for us and the unit price moves with the panel supply, so it is quoted per order rather than published. Send the model, the PCM version and the quantity and you get a firm price with the freight figure in one reply.

How long does installation take?

Ten minutes in the bay: cluster out, panel into the original housing, harness on, ignition on. There is no coding and no PCM modification.

Can I test one unit first, and what does the warranty cover?

Yes. One unit ships at the same unit price as any larger order, nothing commits you to a second order, and a test unit leaves the factory in 3-7 working days. The warranty is 3 years from delivery against manufacturing defects.

Because the original mainboard stays in the car, the factory mileage, service intervals and warning messages keep working without a coding session. What changes is the panel and the interface drawn on it.

What ships in the box

One part number matched to the model and drive side. Nothing else has to be bought separately.

  • 12.3-inch panel at 1920 x 720 on the Panamera and Cayenne; 10.25-inch on the Macan
  • Boots in about 3 seconds from ignition to a usable cluster
  • Plug-and-play harness on the factory connector — no wire cutting, no coding
  • CarPlay and Android Auto built in; HDMI input on the Panamera unit
  • Original cluster mainboard retained, so mileage and service data stay the car's own
  • Left-hand drive build for the Panamera and Cayenne; separate left- and right-hand builds for the Macan

Why shops add the Porsche line

Small line, high ticket. Three fitments that make a premium add-on to a workshop that already services these cars.

A high ticket on three common models

Panamera, Cayenne and Macan are the Porsches your customers actually own. The cluster ticket sits at the top of the range, and the fit is the same ten-minute job as the rest of the line.

Same platform as the Audi line

The software family is shared with our Audi clusters, so the interface, themes and update path are already proven across thousands of units.

The mainboard stays, so the data stays

Mileage, service intervals and warning messages are read from the original board. Nothing is re-entered, nothing is coded, and there is no mileage conversation after the job.

Quoted per order, honestly

Porsche panel supply moves, so we quote per order instead of publishing a number we cannot hold. You get a firm price with the freight figure in one reply.

Notes for installers

Porsche fitment is decided by two things, and neither is the model year: the panel size the car left the factory with, and the drive side. The Panamera and Cayenne kits are left-hand drive only — a right-hand drive car of either model cannot be done with these units, and we would rather say that before an order than after. The Macan is the exception: left-hand drive and right-hand drive are two separate builds and the wrong one cannot be adapted on the bench.

On the Cayenne, this kit is the car with the large factory display. If you are quoting an early small-screen car, send us the photo first — it is a different job. On the 2022-on Macan the PCM generation moved, so tell us the version when you order and we match the harness to the car.

Fitting it

Ten minutes for a workshop that has done one before. No coding, no cutting, no dealer visit, no odometer setup.

  • Trim off, cluster out — the original connector stays with the harness
  • New panel into the original housing — 12.3-inch Panamera and Cayenne, 10.25-inch Macan
  • Plug in, ignition on, cluster usable in about three seconds
  • No coding and no PCM modification at any point

Wiring notes and first-boot checks are in the installation guide. If a unit does not behave on first boot, we do remote diagnosis with you on the phone.
