The short version: we only use your data to answer your inquiry and fulfil your order. We don't sell it, we don't add you to lists, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

1. Who we are
CarSmartix ("we", "us"), based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, operates this website and supplies Android and Linux retrofit screens and digital clusters to business customers worldwide. Our base is at B05, Jinshun Industrial Park, Anliang 6th Village, Henggang, Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong 518115, China. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].
2. What data we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us:
- Inquiry form submissions — your name, company, email address, country, vehicle model and year, estimated quantity and message.
- Email correspondence — anything you send us by email, including attachments.
- Order and after-sales records — quotations, order details and warranty or RMA records for units we supply to you.
We do not run advertising trackers on this site and we do not collect behavioural data for profiling.
3. How we use it, and on what legal basis
- To reply to your inquiry, check fitment and prepare quotations — based on your request prior to entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
- To fulfil orders, provide installation support and handle warranty or RMA service — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep basic business records as required by tax and commercial law.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
4. Who processes your data
Only what is necessary: our email and form-delivery providers (for transmitting your inquiry to our sales inbox), and shipping carriers (DHL / FedEx) when we ship to you. They act as processors and handle your data solely to deliver these services. Units are built on a dedicated line at our long-term manufacturing partner in Shenzhen, which processes order-related data only as needed to build and test your order.
5. How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't become orders are deleted after 24 months. Order, invoice and warranty records are kept as long as tax and commercial law requires, and for the duration of the 3-year warranty period so we can service your units.
6. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or elsewhere, you can ask us at any time to:
- give you a copy of the data we hold about you;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your data (where we don't have a legal obligation to keep it);
- restrict or object to our use of it.
Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Website content
The text, images, product photography and technical documentation on this site belong to CarSmartix. You may use product images and specifications to build your own resale listings as part of a commercial relationship with us; any other reproduction requires our written permission.
8. Vehicle brand names
Vehicle marques and system names (including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, SEAT, Skoda and others) are used on this site solely to describe compatibility with the respective factory systems and chassis codes. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. CarSmartix is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer.
9. Quotations and orders
Quotations are valid for the period stated on them. Orders are governed by the quotation, order confirmation and the trade terms published on this site, including lead time, payment terms, Incoterms, the 3-year warranty and the RMA process.
10. Fitment
Fitment is defined at chassis level and confirmed against the vehicle model, year and factory system you give us at the order stage. Because factory equipment varies by market and build date, please confirm details before ordering — we will tell you if anything about your vehicle needs checking.
11. Liability
Product specifications and vehicle compatibility are described to the best of our knowledge and confirmed per order. Nothing on this website constitutes a warranty beyond the written warranty supplied with our products. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of this website is limited to the amount of the relevant order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes are resolved by friendly negotiation first; failing that, by arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction in Shenzhen, China.
13. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new date. Material changes affecting active customers will be communicated by email.
